The Circular Gas Inflation Drama

www.financialfeed.netAs we are emerging from the spring season of blossoming flowers into the summer season of warmth and fun in the sun, we are now afflicted with the problem we face year… after year… after year: rising gas prices. Oddly, rising gas prices has become so synonymous with summer, it defies logic as to why the American people continue to be shocked and appalled by this annual occurrence. The issue of gas prices in America is endemic of how short term and political expedient solutions are proposed to satisfy an electorate that accepts these solutions.

The Unraveling of Facebook!!

img credit: static.technorati.comIn the last 6 years, Facebook has exploded into a billion dollar social networking platform, destroyed Myspace, and more recently spawned a popular Hollywood movie that drew in $23 million during its first weekend. Beware of Islamic Fruit

I recently went on trip to the Temecula Wine Valley in California. The Temecula Wine Valley is located about 90 miles north of San Diego. In between sipping on wonderfully inspired Zinfandels and Italian inspired wines, I took a moment to leap into the world of the Temecula Valley regional newspaper simply named the “Valley News.”

At first glance, it was not much different than your typical community weekly.

Shame on the Los Angeles Times

img credit: yekitimedia.orgThe Los Angeles Times has recently entered the headlines as the new maker versus news reporters. The Times’ new report on student test scores is simply another example of traditional news sources being interested in conducting sensationalist journalism opposed to remaining the standard barer of responsible traditional journalism.

This whole issue flew onto the scene like a bird dropping on the windshield at 70 mph. A week ago the Los Angeles Times announced that it was going to publish
