Kal Penn Becomes A Victim Of His Own Solution

We all know by now that Kal Penn of 'Harold and Kumar' fame, who left the spotlight to work as an Obama White House aide, was robbed at gunpoint on April 20th, 2010 in the Dupont Circle area of Washington, DC. A gunman apparently stole his wallet and some other unknown belongings.

Foremost, how can there possibly be an armed robbery in Washington, DC with all that gun control? Maybe Kal Penn was lying? More than likely, he was not. Maybe criminals just do not care about gun control because, well, they are criminals and break the law for a living.

If this were to take place in Nevada or Arizona, that same robber stands a good chance of getting arrested civilly or even shot. But in DC (or any other area with heavy gun control for that matter), he would naturally be confident that there would be no cost to him for his actions.

To my knowledge, Penn has not made any official statement regarding this incident, so for the purpose of this article I am going to assume he was not too pleased with what happened, just as you or I wouldn’t have been.

He ought to be pretty excited, though. After all, what happened to Penn was just wealth redistribution at gunpoint. The same forced wealth redistribution, which is the doctrine of leftists like Penn. Theoretically he should come out and publicly thank whoever it was for their dedication in ensuring the flow of democracy.

You see, these people are cowardly; they want to rob you but are too afraid to do it themselves. So they use the force of government agents to do it instead. At least the robber in this case had enough integrity to do it himself!

Isn’t it amazing that even though they are committing the exact same heinous injustice, people like Kal Penn, Nancy Pelosi, Barak Obama, Harry Reid, Hillary Clinton, and their ilk actually have substantially less character than the common criminal on the street?

The robber thrusts his gun into your face and says, “Surrender your property to me or I myself will hurt you!” He is right there, right in front of you, placing himself at risk.

On the other hand, cowards like Pelosi and Reid lounge back in their planes and consume thousands of dollars worth of food and alcohol, knowing full well, that on their whim there are countless agents with guns and badges running around the country terrorizing Americans who do not agree with this theft.

You know, I would never invite a known criminal into my home for any reason, but if I had to choose between Kal Penn or the guy that robbed him. Well…
